“零確診”，用英語(yǔ)怎么說(shuō)？

這里，應該使用zero cases。有些同學(xué)可能會(huì )覺(jué)得奇怪，明明是零，怎么還用復數呢？

這是因為，zero可視同于not any/not one or more，而在這里否定并不改變詞匯的單復數形式，any或one or more后接復數形式，因此zero后也要接復數形式。

例如：

zero degrees 零度

zero books 零本書(shū)

I understand we have no cases, zero cases. 我知道我們零確診。

另外，zero的復數形式是zeros還是zeroes呢？

這兩種形式都可以使用，在美式英語(yǔ)中更多的使用的是zeros，而在英式英語(yǔ)中更多使用zeroes。

不過(guò)，如果zero作動(dòng)詞時(shí)，第三人稱(chēng)單數作主語(yǔ)的句中，應使用zeroes的寫(xiě)法。

例句：He zeroes his stopwatch before recording a new time.

他在記錄新時(shí)間前把秒表調零。
